About.
Clear Tides is a multi-faceted ocean initiative blending marine research, eco-tourism, media, and design — creating meaningful ways for people to experience and understand the ocean, and ultimately fall in love with it.
It began with a love for the sea and a simple belief:
you protect what you love.
What started as small expeditions and beach clean-ups has grown into a collective of ocean lovers who learn, explore, and give back together.
Founded by Jess — a marine scientist, skipper, and ocean guide based in the Whitsundays — Clear Tides grew from years spent working on the water, leading expeditions, conducting marine research, and sharing the ocean with people experiencing it in this way for the first time.
Clear Tides was created to bring science, adventure, and storytelling together — a space where people don’t just learn about the ocean, but genuinely connect with it.
Because when you fall in love with the ocean, protecting it comes naturally
