Host your own beach clean

WITH CLEAR TIDES COLLECTIVE

Want to take action for our oceans where you live? Hosting a beach clean is a simple way to protect your local coastline and bring people together for meaningful impact.

Whether it’s a few friends, a school group, a workplace, or a community crew, Clear Tides supports you to run your own clean and contribute to our growing dataset.

HOW IT WORKS

• Choose a beach or coastal area

• Gather your crew

• Collect rubbish and record what you find

• Submit your data and photos to Clear Tides Collective

All submitted cleans are reviewed before being added to our public dataset

SAFETY FIRST

Your safety always comes first. We recommend:

• Wearing gloves at all times

• Using tongs or grabbers for sharp or hazardous items

• Do not handle sharps (needles, broken glass, medical waste) — report these to your local council

• Being mindful of tides, weather, and heat

• Supervising children closely

If something looks unsafe, leave it.

THANKYOU for helping us protect our oceans
